A girl who has nothing

For a girl who has nothing. Nothing much she ever wanted most in her life. Holding the gorgeous designer handbag such as Chanel, Dior or Prada on her left hand, was never come close to her mind. Even she did continuously keeping herself known of latest trends of fashion, she never dream of having a Chanel Classic Flap Bag and Chanel Reissue 2.55 Flap Bag (although the chain straps and quilted caviar leather bag with nothing much detailing to be adored to) on one of her ‘hantaran’ trays. By that she just approved herself that she wasn’t another Sophie Kinsella’s character, Becky Bloomwood wannabe (Confession of Shopaholic). Folli-follie Heart2Heart watches might catch her eyes. But she didn’t wear wristwatch as she’s too afraid that she might be too conscious with time. Time flies, nothing can avoid it. Weee. She isn’t kind of girl whom charms by the shining of diamond and gold. She’s rather paranoid that those shiny-things may attract potential culprit or snatch thieve.  But she once enjoyed buying enchanted bracelet (one that you can found in flea market or accessories shop, Diva). Since she lost her most favourite turquoise bracelet with tiny bell which she bought during visiting Thai, the one that she tried to bargain with English-speaking Thai lady and clearly she failed to get the price she asking for (because she really running out of ‘Baht’ that day) due to her I-must-have-this-bracelet look upon her face. She is the girl who has nothing, not even dare to dream.

Dare to dream. Source: Mr. Google

However, she likes numbers. She always did. That doesn’t meant she’s good in Math. She didn’t put price on herself. She just likes the number. For a girl whom had being taught since kid, not to ask for something that is beyond our own reach, those branded handbags, watches, shoes, clothes don’t really fascinating her most. You may ask her of her most dreamed handbag (designer handbag which will cost you, your monthly income x3), she just went clueless and no words come out from her heavy lips. But she likes the number. That number. No one ever projected that number beneath her mind. She just likes the number. She may has nothing more to wish for but that number. Or perhaps it was just a part of test. His perseverance and willingness has been put in trial. Is she really important to him?

P/s: handbag, shoe wouldn't woo me. but maxi dress does. ;D

The first met

There was a lady in a blue straw hat which she bought last 2 years during her visit to northern island and a pink with tiny blue dotted driving hand sock covering her hands. Too hot that day. Perhaps she couldn’t bear the hot; the sun left itchiness on her hands, or too afraid that her skin got tanned under the excessive sunlight. Her former superior was giving her site tour and they were passing through quite numbers of the shipping containers turned office cabins. She couldn’t imagine how she’ll survive working on that cabin cramped with like 12 people inside. Luckily she wore her heavy safety shoe as the gravel laid pathway wasn’t too pleasant to walk through. As her superior explaining few things to her, they walked nearer to the man with Ray-ban shades. Her superior approached the man and left her in the middle of pathway. She hesitated to tail the superior as she just didn’t want to inferior the superior conversation with that man. The truth she’s shy. But she sure steals another quick look at that man. There was something in him that she couldn’t help from kept looking into his direction. Suddenly her heart skipped a bit or more than just a bit by thinking of that unknown man. Her heart smiled.

He was stood against the wall exactly as in left photo (again, she might exaggerated the pose) and clearly he wasn't giving the seducing look as model in right photo. Too much imagination involved here. ;D (Photos Source: Mr. Google)

There was a man, wearing a pair of black shade. He wore a light brown long sleeve shirt and paired with a dark brown trouser. He folded the sleeve, only to expose his not so toned arm. He was laid against the wall (cabin wall) with cigarette on his right hand. Or perhaps she was being imagined that he would. Her imagination was overwhelming due to too much Malay-telenovela-watching. As he enjoyed his intimate moment with his bestie, Mr. Cigarette, he spotted two figures walked along the not-so-pleasant pathway to walk to. A man at his mid-40 (at least he thought so) and a young looking lady whom he never came cross before this. He waved his hand to the mid-40 man. Obviously he knew this man quite well. The mid-40 man hurriedly met that man, forgetting the lady he was talking to just now. Perhaps, he wished the lady following his trail but she didn’t. The man with black shade rather frustrated as he did intentionally waved to the mid-40 man in hoping of being formally introduced to that newcomer lady. His heart filled with a little disappointment.

They never knew what fate had they brought to. The first sight could be the beginning of the love tale. Never knew that she would be so important to him.

"Aduh cantiknya, gula Jawa berubah jadi gula pasir."

Habibie and Ainun. Photo from Mbah Parto

sekejap saja, lalu rasanya mampu membuatku menjadi nelangsa setengah mati,
hatiku seperti tak di tempatnya,
dan tubuhku serasa kosong melompong, hilang isi.

Kau tahu sayang,
aku bukan hendak mengeluh, tapi rasanya terlalu sebentar kau disini.

Mereka mengira aku lah kekasih yang baik bagimu sayang,
tanpa mereka sadari, bahwa kaulah yang menjadikan aku kekasih yang baik.
mana mungkin aku setia padahal memang kecenderunganku adalah mendua,
tapi kau ajarkan aku kesetiaan, sehingga aku setia,
kau ajarkan aku arti cinta, sehingga aku mampu mencintaimu seperti ini.

Selamat jalan,
Kau dari-Nya, dan kembali pada-Nya,
kau dulu tiada untukku, dan sekarang kembali tiada.
selamat jalan sayang,
cahaya mataku, penyejuk jiwaku,
selamat jalan,
calon bidadari surgaku....

BJ.HABIBIE

I may haven’t read the book nor watch the film, but this true love story of match made in heaven of former President of Indonesia, BJ. Habibie and his beloved wife, Ainun is worth watching. His wife left him 10 days away from their 48th anniversary due to uterus cancer which only made known to him 2 months before her death. Ya Allah. How she ever concealed such terrible pain and appeared healthy and delightful in front of her husband? I read stories of these lovebirds with teary eyes. Ibu Ainun quitted her job as a medical doctor as to devote herself to her ambitious husband and her 2 children. For me, it was such remarkable sacrifice’s a woman with big hearted and huge potential and talent would ever made, in letting his husband pursuing his own dream of becoming an aeronautical expert in Germany. The inseparable couple who remembered as romantic life partner, even in their golden age, Ibu Ainun’s hand still lingered on Pak Habibie’s arm. What disturbing me the most was Pak Habibie’s life after his wife leaving? Couldn't imagine the sorrow he felt after all these while, she’s being there for him, with him. They never leave each other’s side until deaths do them apart. That’s life. He suffered of psychosomatic malignant which could cause him to follow his wife’s death. He was drowning with sorrow and depression as he started writing the book of his love devotion as his healing therapy.

Despite the ugly stories of marriage life (domestic violence, women’s nightmare), Habibie and Ainun’s story did wonder to others especially for soon-to-be-married and newlyweds and even to married couple. Not many couple could endure the challenges and obstacles, but those who did, they brought hope for others to inspire.

Could i have another 'Habibie' as my husband? (",) Photo from here

It’s just 57 days (less than 2 months) away from my big day, and I have zillion ton of works not settle yet. (T_T)
